Early influences on Mark’s musical career were Neil Diamond, John Denver, Glen Campbell, The Eagles, Little River Band, Elvis and Billy Joel.

Mid 80’s: George Strait, Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson and the new ‘hat’ acts.

90’s-2000’s: Toby Keith, Tim McGraw, Vince Gill and Keith Urban.

Mark performs songs from all these artists and many more.

In the mid 90’s Mark met one of his musical heroes, Terry Uttley from the band ‘Smokie’. It turned out that Tel was a Country fan too and they struck up a friendship that continues. Both ‘Smokie’ and Mark wholeheartedly support a very worthy cause, the ‘Annette Fox Leukaemia Research Fund’ with Mark annually attending a charity function to benefit the fund.
